I'm not sure what fonts there are, but maybe dpkg -l |grep -i font will tell you if there are font packages installed. -c

How to know what are the fonts available in Ubuntu? I have seen a thread here http://forums.techarena.in/operating-systems/1452474.htm). There also told to install the Tweaker Tool.
