I just noticed that in time for Fedora 14 (which has just gone gold), the project has released a new website.
It’s great. Has lots of useful information about Fedora, especially for new users.

Very nice website, Fedora seems to aiming for a broader range of users with this, which will be good for fedora. I think Fedora is going to be my main desktop soon too now that Ubuntu is going in some other direction with the unity desktop once I will watch but will not be following.

Thanks for the comment. I think this is a response to current (new) user expectations, and probably a reaction to Ubuntu and its approach. I think it’s a good thing – Fedora has always had an excellent community, but now they are making themselves more attractive to new users. Of course, they’ll never include proprietary drivers and things like that because it goes against the philosophy of the project, but it does keep getting better and better 🙂
